Then and Now : The pond was fully surrounded by a brick wall, and boys would spend many hours fishing from the bank on the left. The pond is now drained and boys must find other pursuits for their free time.

Then and Now : Jeaffreson’s Well. The well, pump and shelter were the gift of Ann Jeaffreson, whose family were surgeons in Framlingham during the 19th century. The borehole eventually reached a depth of 250 feet, and was later used by the water works.
