Alastair and Janet Douglas : Alastair and Janet Douglas. Alastair was by far the biggst contributor to the Framlingham Photo Porject in 2011. Tragically he died during an Aneurysm operation on 26th March 2014. He will be greatly missed.
Alastair and Janet Douglas : The Gables, 38 Fore Strreet, Framlingham built by The Douglas’s. Eventually two plots were sold off to Andrew Clarke (SACE House) (builder from Wiclham Market) and to Graham Goldsmith (Kentford Lodge) (chiropodist from Wickham Market).
Alastair and Janet Douglas : Glenmore, Fore Street, Framlingham where the vets surgery was situated. Clay and Cabban; Cabban Breese and Douglas; Breese Douglas and Anderson; Breese and Anderson; Castle Vets owned by Sarah Morgan. Major clay lived here; then the Douglas Family lived here; then the vets took over the whole building. The Douglas’s built The Gables in the garden (field).
Alastair and Janet Douglas : 59 Fore Street, Framlingham where the Douglas’s retired to. The Douglas’s owned half of this cottage 40 years previuosly when Alastair Douglas (interested now in photogrpahy and is taking many photos for this FPP-2011) was the veterinary assistant, at the time he became a partner in Clay and Cabban – Veterinary Surgeons.

Arthur Newson : barbershop – Arthur Newson aged 94 at his home in 4 Castle Street. This was where Arthur and wife Edna carried their barbers and hairdressing businesses. Arthur in this room and Edna in the room on the RHS of the hall. Ray Howard, from Famlinghasm Castle, kinidly acting as a model for the photo.
